Intern Opportunity Engineering / IT

Company: ATSC Location: AZ and/or VA Duration: Summer 2026 Hours: Full-time / 40 hrs.

Overview

ATSC is seeking a highly motivated Intern to support programs within the aerospace and defense sector. This internship provides hands-on exposure to industry standards, government and defense-related operations, and mission-critical projects that support national security and technological advancement. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute meaningfully to projects aligned with ATSC's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line user support during the GCC High migration, assisting with login, email (Outlook), Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint access issues
  • Support company-wide users (Arizona and Virginia) during pre-migration, cutover, and post-migration activities
  • Assist in preparing and organizing user readiness materials, including quick reference guides and step-by-step instructions
  • Help document common issues, resolutions, and support processes to build a reusable knowledge base
  • Participate in migration planning activities and gain familiarity with the GCC High environment and transition plan
  • Assist with data organization efforts related to SharePoint and network drive transitions
  • Track and log user issues, escalations, and resolutions during migration
  • Collaborate with IT, Information Security, and SharePoint administration teams to support ongoing migration tasks
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (preferred areas of study include Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or related fields)
  • Strong interest in IT systems, information security, or enterprise technology environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow structured processes and work within defined procedures
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues or willingness to learn quickly
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Professional demeanor with a willingness to assist and support end users
