Peak Behavioral Health is seeking aDirector of SLP Services to join its interdisciplinary clinic with locations in Norman, OKC, Lawton, and Edmond! Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Evaluate and treat a wide-range of speech and language disorders.
  • Lead a team of SLP and SLPA providers across locations - mentoring, managing and conducting supervision to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Serve as a team member for multidisciplinary evaluations.
  • Diagnose and treat disorders related to feeding/oral and motor/swallowing issues.
  • Provide family education and training to assist in transfer of skills.
  • Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting within clinic, home and community environments.
  • Maintain timely and accurate client records and treatment notes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations.


Required Education and Experience

  • Possess a degree that includes an internship from an accredited Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology, or as required by applicable law and/or regulation
  • Oklahoma State License in good standing
  • 2+ years' experience working with children and families
  • Experience working with augmentative and alternative communication
  • Prior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilities
  • Training and experience in areas of: feeding/oral and motor/swallowing
  • Meets education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP, granted by ASHA.
  • Must be familiar with PECS, AAC, ASL
  • Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
  • Must have great problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Office, Google Drive and EMR systems required
  • Passionate about helping children and their families


Reporting

The Speech-Language Pathologist reports to the CEO/Owner.

Classification and Compensation

The Director of SLP Services is a salaried, exempt position. Payroll is processed bi-weekly, constituting 26 annual pay periods.


Benefits:

  • Annual Salary: Base salary of $90,000, with total annual earning potential of up to $105,000 based on performance incentives.
  • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance (Peak BH will pay for 50% of these insurance premiums for the employee). Dependents can be added as needed, but the employee is responsible for 100% of those costs.
