The Marketing Manager exists to operationalize Blue Heron’s marketing strategy through disciplined planning, high-quality execution, and cross-functional coordination that advances the company’s brand, communities, and customer experience.


This role translates strategic marketing direction into actionable marketing plans, ensures initiatives move efficiently from concept through execution, and drives accountability across campaigns, events, and client-facing touchpoints. The Marketing Manager serves as the connective layer between strategy, creative execution, project management, sales, and field operations, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with business objectives.


The role also exists to elevate the consistency and sophistication of Blue Heron’s client engagement efforts by leading exceptional events, maintaining high brand standards, and strengthening operational rigor within the marketing department.


Core Accountabilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with the Marketing leadership to refine and execute integrated marketing strategies across communities, campaigns, product launches, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable marketing plans with clear deliverables, sequencing, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain visibility into the strategic marketing calendar to ensure alignment across launches, events, campaigns, and organizational priorities.
  • Monitor marketing and event spend, identify budget variances, and support resource allocation decisions that maximize ROI.
  • Support ongoing process refinement to improve marketing planning, intake, execution workflows, and departmental scalability.

Execution & Operational Ownership

  • Own end-to-end execution of marketing initiatives from kickoff through completion, ensuring delivery against timelines, objectives, and quality standards.
  • Ensure project briefs, campaign requirements, and deliverables are clearly defined and submitted in a timely manner to support efficient creative production and traffic management.
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager on prioritization, scheduling impacts, and execution dependencies while respecting operational role boundaries.
  • Drive accountability across direct reports and cross-functional contributors to ensure work progresses efficiently and professionally.
  • Identify execution risks early and proactively resolve obstacles that may impact delivery timelines, brand standards, or stakeholder expectations.

Brand Stewardship

  • Uphold and protect the Blue Heron brand across all campaigns, events, collateral, digital channels, and client-facing experiences.
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure consistent application of brand standards, visual identity, voice, and quality expectations.
  • Review deliverables for strategic alignment, accuracy, and brand integrity prior to launch or public release.
  • Identify inconsistencies in field execution, signage, partner-produced materials, and customer experiences, driving corrective action where necessary.
  • Champion an elevated luxury customer experience across every marketing touchpoint.

Events & Client Engagement

  • Lead the planning and execution of signature events including community launches, broker events, homeowner experiences, partner activations, and brand engagements.
  • Manage event development from concept through execution, including planning, logistics, on-site coordination, and post-event evaluation.
  • Develop repeatable event systems, templates, and playbooks that support operational consistency while preserving creativity and brand differentiation.

  • Ensure campaign recaps, event summaries, and performance reporting are delivered consistently and accurately.
