At Jones Edmunds, we help communities thrive through innovative engineering and consulting solutions. We're looking for an experienced Engineer with a passion for Water/Wastewater Engineering to join our dynamic team.

What You'll Do:
  • Design water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plant improvements.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and reports consistent with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop solutions to complex engineering challenges using sound technical judgment and creative problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective designs.
  • Review and provide guidance on the work of Engineer Interns and peers to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in the Jones Edmunds Quality Program, performing reviews to ensure deliverables meet company, industry, and client standards.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and clients regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Engage in continuing professional development to stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory requirements.

Who You Are:
  • Education: BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Registration: Florida Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of progressive consulting or related professional experience (MS may substitute for 1 year; PhD for 2 years).
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software preferred.
  • Other: Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
