Are you fascinated by what's happening across the competitive landscape? Join our Strategic Insights team as a Market Intelligence Intern and help us stay ahead of industry shifts, competitor moves, and emerging trends. This internship is your chance to gain hands-on experience in competitive research, market analysis, and strategic intelligence, all at the exciting intersection of sports and gaming. You'll work alongside experienced researchers and contribute directly to high-impact projects that shape our marketing, product, and business strategy.
We're not looking for polished. We're looking for sharp. If you've built something from scratch, figured things out on the fly, or pushed through setbacks to get results, you'll fit right in here.
What You'll Do
You'll be a crucial support member for the Market Intelligence function, helping to monitor the competitive landscape and generate strategic findings. You will:
  • Be a Data Manager: Maintain and organize our core databases of competitive intelligence, industry reports, and market research materials.
  • Monitor Trends: Keep a pulse on competitors, industry developments, and online communities to identify emerging trends, track market shifts, and surface timely intelligence.
  • Conduct Research: Perform secondary research on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics, summarizing your findings into clear, concise briefs.
  • Support Intelligence Deliverables: Assist in producing recurring competitive reports, landscape summaries, and ad hoc briefings for business leaders.
  • Analyze and Synthesize: Help with data gathering, source organization, and the preparation of deliverables like competitive snapshots, analysis summaries, and slide decks.
Who You Are
  • Educational Background: You are a rising junior/senior, graduate student, or recent graduate in a relevant field such as Market Research, Psychology, Business, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Builder Mentality: You've started something like a club, an organization, a side project, a business. It doesn't have to have succeeded. The fact that you started matters.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: You've taken initiative in an unstructured environment, whether that's launching a venture, running a campus organization, or finding creative solutions when there was no playbook.
  • Organizational Skills: You are detail-oriented and reliable, with the ability to efficiently manage and organize multiple tasks and information sets.
  • Storytelling Ability: Strong writing and synthesis skills, with the ability to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Tool Familiarity: Comfortable using PowerPoint/Excel/Google Slides/Sheets.
  • Curiosity: A genuine interest in consumer behavior and the world of sports, gaming, or betting.
