About Ideal Siding
Ideal Siding is the fastest-growing siding renovation company in North America, with multiple divisions across Canada and the U.S. We're redefining the home exterior renovation industry through innovation, exceptional service, and a people-first culture. Our team is driven, professional, and passionate about helping homeowners improve their homes while building long-term trust in our brand.
About the Role
Ideal Siding Columbus is hiring a Construction Operations Manager to keep residential exterior projects moving smoothly from start to finish. This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage crews, coordinate materials, solve problems quickly, and keep homeowners informed throughout the process.
You'll be the main point of contact between clients, installers, vendors, and the internal team. Your job is to make sure each project is completed on schedule, on budget, and with a customer experience that reflects the Ideal Siding standard. If you're organized, confident in the field, and comfortable leading people through moving parts and changing priorities, this role gives you the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing market.
From site visits and crew coordination to customer updates and project troubleshooting, this is not a role where you sit behind a desk all day. You'll have the independence to manage your schedule, the support of a strong corporate team, and the satisfaction of helping homeowners bring their projects to life.
What We Offer
  • Earning Potential: Competitive compensation package with performance-based bonuses.
  • Training and Support: Hands-on onboarding, industry training, leadership support, and access to a network of experienced franchisees and corporate resources.
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Take ownership of daily operations, support installation teams, build strong homeowner relationships, and help grow the Columbus location.
  • Career Progression: Join a fast-growing company with room to expand your responsibilities and grow into future leadership opportunities.
  • Flexible Schedule: This is not a traditional desk job. We trust our team to manage their time around site visits, client meetings, crew coordination, and operational priorities. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a hybrid remote setup and prefers active, field-based work over a rigid 9-to-5 routine.

What Your Day Will Look Like:
  • Morning Check-In: Review the project schedule, confirm crew readiness, check job priorities, and follow up with vendors on material deliveries.
  • Client Communication: Connect with homeowners to provide project updates, answer questions, set expectations, and make sure they feel supported throughout the process.
  • Midday Operations: Coordinate material orders, process change orders, track project budgets, schedule crews, and keep active jobs moving forward.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle field issues as they come up, whether it's a delayed delivery, a scheduling conflict, a customer concern, or a crew-related challenge.
  • Daily Wrap-Up: Review job progress, update project notes, identify upcoming priorities, and prepare for the next day's schedule.

Qualifications
  • Construction Experience: 3+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction, ideally in siding and renovation.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Ability to recruit and manage installation crews, coordinate with vendors, and oversee multiple projects at once.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using different software to manage project schedules, generate reports, and track client interactions.
  • Problem-solving ability: Skilled at handling unexpected challenges, from material delays to customer concerns, and finding quick, practical solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and on-site management.
  • Must be able to relocate to Franchise Location (if not currently local).

Important Employment Notice
This role is offered by a locally owned and independently operated Ideal Siding franchise. Hiring decisions for this position are made by the franchise owner and their local team, including decisions related to job offers, employment terms, and the employment relationship. Ideal Siding's Support Center may assist with the early screening stage only. The Support Center does not make final hiring decisions for independently owned franchise locations. Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the location where they are applying, as employment sponsorship is not available for this role. Thank you for your understanding.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
