Job Summary
Responsible for providing expert-level guidance and technical direction for enterprise clinical applications. Serves as the primary escalation point for complex cross‑functional issues and ensures consistency in build, testing, and optimization practices. Oversees large‑scale implementations and enhancements, coordinates analyst activities, and ensures alignment with governance standards and organizational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provides expert‑level direction on complex system design, configuration, and integration.
- Serves as escalation point for high‑impact or cross‑functional application issues.
- Coordinates application build and testing activities across multiple teams to ensure quality and consistency.
- Oversees large‑scale upgrades, implementations, and optimization initiatives.
- Develops and enforces standards, policies, and procedures for EHR build and configuration.
- Guides analysts in troubleshooting, documentation, and compliance practices.
- Partners with clinical leaders, governance bodies, and IT management to ensure application reliability and safety.
- Leads vendor coordination for technical issues, upgrades, and new functionality.
- Tracks performance metrics and ensures service levels are met across supported applications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree.
Experience Requirement
7+ years of experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Certifications & Licensures
Epic certification.
