General Summary:
Qualcomm's Snapdragon Game Studios are seeking an experienced engineer to implement the latest gaming AI solutions contributing to the best-in-class gaming experiences for the Snapdragon chipset.
The focus of the role will be on developing novel machine learning based solutions for gaming applications and adapting traditional game AI techniques leveraging Snapdragon's dedicated AI hardware. The position is cross functional working closely with multiple hardware, software, and product teams on a variety of different Snapdragon powered devices. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge hardware, and contribute to the future of high performance, always connected mobile and PC gaming.
At the heart of Snapdragon Game Studios, we are passionate about next generation gaming technologies and delivering exceptional gaming experiences. Our highly creative teams are full of veteran game developers, artists, game engine experts and graphics enthusiasts who work on our latest GPU and gaming hardware innovations around mobile, PC, and XR.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI workflows and best practices
  • Experience with machine learning accelerators, optimizing algorithms for hardware acceleration cores using CUDA, OpenCL, DSPs and/or ML specific cores.
  • Familiar with modern game engine architectures and gameplay systems

Education Requirements
Required: A BS, MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science related field.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$111,300.00 - $166,900.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
