Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team! As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our companyโ€™s software. You will gather information to identify the companyโ€™s needs and program clean and efficient code to meet those needs. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a proven ability to produce functional code.
Responsibilitiesย 
  • Identify and evaluate the needs of the user
  • Develop software to meet those needs
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Fix bugs and address user concerns
  • Update software as needed
  • Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s].
  • ย Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.ย 
  • Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.ย 
  • Develops and formulates internal standards, procedures, and conventions for internal database use.ย 
  • Works with technical/programming staff to ensure database security.ย 
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • ย Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.ย 
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.ย 
Qualifications

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role is preferred with 4 or more years of experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate well as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages
  • Experience with one or more web frameworks
