We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support our corporate, retail, and warehouse network infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines deep Fortinet ecosystem expertise with broad multi-vendor networking experience and holds, or is working toward, industry-recognized certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN infrastructure across all company locations.
  • Configure, administer, and troubleshoot the Fortinet ecosystem, including FortiGate firewalls, ADVPN site-to-site connectivity, FortiManager for centralized policy and firmware management and FortiNAC for network access control and device segmentation.
  • Design and maintain ADVPN topologies to provide dynamic, resilient, and scalable connectivity between corporate, retail, and warehouse sites.
  • Deploy and support Meraki and Cisco-centric solutions, including switching, wireless, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Monitor network performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, segmentation, and access policies in accordance with IT security standards.
  • Manage routing and switching configurations, including VLANs, OSPF/BGP, and spanning tree, across the network environment.
  • Partner with the IT Help Desk and technicians on escalated network issues and act as a subject matter expert for networking.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and test new networking technologies, hardware, and vendors to support business growth.
  • Document network architecture, configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in IT projects and infrastructure initiatives, including site rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards, including change management practices.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support network incidents outside of normal business hours

  • Experience with Meraki and Cisco-centric networking platforms, including switching, wireless, and IOS/IOS-XE.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), and VPN technologies.
  • Experience with SD-WAN design and deployment across multi-site environments.
  • Industry-standard certification required, such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco CCNA (or equivalent).
  • Fortinet certifications are strongly preferred and highly valued, such as NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6, or NSE 7.
  • Additional certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Meraki CMNA, or CWNA are a plus.
