Job description

Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team
NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world's best athletes. It is a place to explore potential, obliterate boundaries and push out the edges of what can be. The company looks for people who can grow, think, dream and create. Its culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. The brand seeks achievers, leaders and visionaries. At Nike, it's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.
Every successful team at Nike needs a sharp game plan. Strategy teams help shape and drive the company's growth agenda by leading enterprise business planning, aligning leadership around the most critical opportunities, and spearheading transformational work across Nike's diverse businesses and geographies. Embedded across the company, you'll act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders-exploring complex business questions, analyzing consumer, competitive, and market insights, building financial models, and translating ideas into action. Known for developing high-impact talent, the Strategy organization has a strong legacy of alumni who go on to lead across Nike's functions and businesses. With bold thinking and the DNA to catalyze action, you'll help chart Nike's path forward.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:
You'll be embedded within one of Nike's Strategy teams and work closely with experienced strategists, cross-functional partners, and senior leaders across the company. You'll own and deliver a high-impact project aligned to your team's priorities. Through hands-on project work and functional programming, you'll gain broad exposure across the Strategy function, build a deep understanding of Nike's business, and form relationships with leaders shaping the company's long-term growth.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Nike Strategy is looking for MBA and Master's talent interested in Corporate Strategy. You may be aligned to opportunities across several Strategy teams, including:
  • Brand (Nike, Jordan & Sport Dimensions)

  • Product (Design, Creation & Innovation)

  • Geo & Marketplace

  • Corporate Strategy

As a Strategy Intern, you'll join teams leading Nike into the future by delivering integrated sets of choices and actions. Your work will be grounded in objective, insight-driven answers to the most critical strategic questions-helping Nike serve athletes* with competitive separation and long-term, profitable growth.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:
In the NIKE, Inc. Summer Internship Program, you'll contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives aligned to the NIKE, Inc. strategic roadmap.
With the guidance of senior leaders and experienced managers, you'll take ownership of a project that's been scoped to drive impact. These projects are designed to challenge your critical thinking, further develop your skills and foster effective collaboration while contributing directly to your team's goals.
As a Strategy Intern, you'll partner to develop elements of NIKE, Inc.'s global long-term growth strategy. You'll manage one or more cross-functional projects in support of management to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or problems, and to catalyze action against these priorities through long-range business planning and performance management.
Project examples may include:
  • How must our retail strategy be evolved to better serve Global Football athletes in North America?

  • What opportunities could unlock the next wave of Nike Fitness growth?

  • How should our approach to Jordan athlete marketing be evolved to better serve the youth of tomorrow?
