The TA Business Partner (Early Careers & Hourly Recruitment) supports the US early careers program and hourly workforce recruiting across multiple U.S. locations. This role plays a key part in executing recruiting strategies for direct labor positions as well as rotational program hires, interns, and co-ops. Responsibilities include coordinating hiring events, engaging candidates, and building strong relationships with local schools, universities, workforce development programs, and community partners to attract top talent.
Early Careers & Campus Recruiting
  • Support the full-cycle recruitment process for U.S. early career roles (internships, co-ops, rotational programs), including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer support to hiring managers during the hiring/onboarding process.
  • Plan, coordinate, and represent Watlow at campus and community recruiting events, including career fairs, info sessions, site tours, and networking events.
  • Maintain early career pipeline data and assist in designing content and campaigns to support candidate engagement and retention.

Hourly & Workforce Recruiting
  • Lead and support recruiting strategies for hourly & skilled trade roles across multiple U.S. sites.
  • Collaborate with site HR and operations teams to understand workforce needs and align recruiting efforts accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, technical schools, career centers, and student organizations to strengthen early talent pipelines.
  • Support and execute site hiring events, job fairs, and different hiring events.

Employer Branding & Engagement
  • Support employer branding efforts and talent campaigns, including early careers engagement.
  • Ensure recruiting materials and events reflect Watlow's culture and EVP.
  • Help create content and initiatives that connect with future talent pipelines.
  • Ensure recruiting materials, branding assets, and giveaways are prepared and aligned with Watlow's employer brand.

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of high volume, hourly, recruiting experience required.
  • 1+ years of experience focusing on Early Career or Campus recruiting.
  • Ability to travel to regional campuses and events as needed.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS). Dayforce is a plus.
  • Experience with campus recruiting platforms and CRM strategies.
