We're looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) team member to help accelerate our development efforts. Your primary responsibility would be to test out new features, find and report bugs, and investigate problems that customers encounter. As a small team, we want to find additional opportunities for you to contribute based on your background and interests.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with technology experts
Learn new technologies and languages relevant to the team
Experience testing and supporting software used by thousands of schools
Exposure to product development - customer interviews, product research, and prioritization
Attend intern professional, personal, and social development events
Performing all aspects of Quality Assurance including Software Quality Assurance, QA program Implementation, Testing, Verification, and Validation


EDUCATION:
Pursuing degree in an IT-related field including software development, computer science, or other related major.
Technical skills and languages needed for this position: Experience with testing API's, using AI tooling for testing, and querying document databases (ex. MongoDB) preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Experience:
Knowledge of Agile software development process
Knowledge of computers: preferably Microsoft packages and advancement in programming language learning
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in creating and deploying software (e.g. internship, class-based project, personal project, research opportunity, non-profit work, etc.)
Experience solving complex problems and working through challenging requirements


COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Must be proficient with computers
Basic knowledge of testing software is required
Ability to test software and question features or behavior is desirable, but not required.
