Position Overview

Refreshed Hope Mental Health Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. The ideal candidate will hold an active license in the District of Columbia as an LPC, LMFT, or LICSW, and will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health services to our diverse clientele. This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $105,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake diagnostic assessments to identify the underlying issues that clients are facing, using tools such as the GAINs and LOCUS assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families to monitor behavioral changes and therapy responses, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention and management for clients experiencing acute challenges, employing effective de-escalation techniques.
  • Offer psychotherapy services via both face-to-face meetings and secure telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility for all clients.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards, safeguarding client privacy at all times.
  • Participate in regular clinical and interdisciplinary meetings, contributing to collaborative care strategies and treatment planning.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions, conferences, and workshops to continually enhance therapeutic skills.
  • Supervise and mentor junior therapists and interns, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Offer case management and advocacy, assisting clients in accessing necessary community resources and support systems.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) effectively for documentation and tracking of client progress.
  • Participate in a rotation of after-hour on-call services and weekend coverage with team members.

Qualifications
