Who We Are
Aurex is a mission-focused aerospace and defense company building the next frontier of deterrence. From hypersonics and missile defense to hardened networks and orbital systems, we design, test, and deliver the platforms that turn unproven ideas into battlefield-ready capability.

Born in Huntsville and built for speed, Aurex brings together aerospace veterans, combat-tested operators, and forward-leaning technologists to solve problems that matter—fast. We move from whiteboard to warfighter with precision, clarity, and zero tolerance for fluff.

Your Role

Aurex is seeking a People Operations Intern to provide administrative and recordkeeping support across the People Operations function. This role will have a strong focus on HRIS administration, employee data accuracy, electronic records, and process documentation.

The intern will also support talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, learning programs, and other People Operations initiatives.

  • Review HRIS information and employee records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
  • Support HRIS audits, reporting, system testing, process documentation, and the development of job aids and employee resources.
  • Maintain organized electronic records, trackers, spreadsheets, forms, and other People Operations materials.
  • Assist with recruiting administration, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and applicant record maintenance.
  • Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, training initiatives, surveys, events, and internal communications.
  • Assist with compliance-related recordkeeping and follow-up on missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Support People Operations projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new systems.

How You Will Be Rewarded
