Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Sales support for all GA Account Managers
  • Create detailed submittals and other customer facing documents
  • Enter and manage small projects
  • Track and expedite Orders
  • Analyze Drawings and Specs to field quote Projects of all sizes through Empower
  • Review and Hand off large projects to the project team
  • Assist with change orders and revised submittals for large projects
  • Create Opportunities through Sales Force.com (SFDC)
  • Submit RFQs through SFDC
  • SFDC Past Due Clean Out
  • Answer customer product questions
  • Submit and Monitor Warranty/Damaged Goods cases
  • Handle credit workflows for project issues
  • Offer ABB Sales Tool Empower assistance for co-workers and customers

Qualifications for the role

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
