Position Overview
Shaw Industries is looking for a curious, motivated student who enjoys learning how things work, analyzing data, and collaborating to solve complex operational challenges. You'll be part of a team that values innovation, continuous improvement, and hands-on problem solving across manufacturing, distribution, and logistics.
What You'll Work On
  • Process improvement initiatives that enhance flow, reduce waste, or increase throughput
  • Data analysis to identify trends, support decisions, or improve reporting accuracy
  • Operational audits and time studies to establish baseline performance
  • System updates and documentation for standardized work and training
  • Layout updates using tools such as CAD to reflect current operations
  • Inventory and material flow reviews to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Cross-functional projects with manufacturing, logistics, planning, and quality teams
  • Continuous improvement activities aligned with Shaw's operational excellence goals

Requirements
