Position Description:


The Technology Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing the technology infrastructure of Delmarva Christian School across all campuses and programs. This role oversees daily IT operations, device management, classroom technology, network support coordination, and event-based audio/visual production needs. This individual will play a key role in ensuring technology readiness for classrooms, offices, chapels, performances, livestreams, banquets, and major school events while helping cultivate excellence in communication, production quality, and user experience throughout the school community.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Experience in educational technology, IT systems, and/or A/V production environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and event schedules
  • Servant-hearted with a strong desire to support faculty, staff, students, and families
  • Working knowledge of: Apple and Windows devices, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, Audio/video systems, Livestreaming and presentation software, Wireless networking and classroom technology, Basic networking and device management systems

Responsibilities:

Information Technology Support

End User Support (Staff & Students)

  • Provide timely and effective support for faculty, staff, students, and administrators
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and account-related issues
  • Help ensure classroom and office technology readiness on a daily basis
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and campuses
  • Support and maintain student, faculty, and staff devices
  • Assist with setup, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all DCS devices:
  • Train staff and students on effective technology usage
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of technology assets

Network & Systems Coordination

  • Collaborate effectively with the schoolโ€™s third-party IT provider to support technology operations and resolve technical issues.
  • Assist in maintaining wired and wireless network systems
  • Help oversee:
  • Firewall and filtering systems, VoIP systems, Security/access control systems, Surveillance systems, Cloud-based systems and backups
  • Monitor and support technology reliability and cybersecurity best practices

Cloud Services & Software Platforms

  • Maintain and support:
  • Google Workspace, Microsoft365/Azure AD, FACTS SIS, Learning Management Systems ,Website/CMS in collaboration with Marketing, MDM platforms (Intune/Jamf) , Ensure systems remain operational, secure, and organized, Assist with software licensing compliance

Strategic Technology Support

  • Recommend improvements to school technology systems and workflows
  • Research emerging educational technology trends and tools
  • Assist in annual technology planning and budgeting
  • Create and update training documentation as needed
  • Mentor student interns interested in technology fields

Audio/Visual & Production Responsibilities

Chapel, Worship & Event Support

  • Manage audio/video production support for chapels and worship events
  • Support guest speakers with presentations and recordings
  • Assist with setup and teardown of production equipment
  • Help oversee student production volunteers or interns
  • Assist with other events as assigned

Production Systems & Organization

  • Maintain organization and functionality of A/V storage and production areas
  • Help streamline production processes and reduce technical issues during events
  • Assist with recommendations for A/V equipment purchases and upgrades
  • Coordinate routine maintenance of production equipment

Physical Activities & Demands
