The Marketing Intern will support Ascent’s Marketing and Sales teams by assisting in the execution of campaigns, marketing operations, and cross-functional initiatives. This role is designed to give you hands-on experience across marketing systems, campaign execution, and business operations, while contributing to key initiatives that help us drive student engagement.


Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in building and preparing marketing emails in HubSpot, including copywriting, content setup, UTMs, and audience configuration
  • Support QA and testing of landing pages and key search terms prior to campaign launches
  • Support various awareness and engagement marketing campaigns across digital, email, and social media channels through monthly marketing calendars
  • Conduct competitive research and market monitoring to support marketing strategy
  • Support scholarship program coordination and execution
  • Assist with compliance-related processes and monitoring
  • Office support for visitors, meetings, and team events
  • Support prospect and account research for Sales and Partnerships teams, including event and trade show logistics and coordination
  • Familiarity with or interest in learning AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to support content creation, research, and marketing operations; eager to explore new ways to improve efficiency with AI agents

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Available to work approximately 20 hours per week during business hours (Tuesday–Thursday in office)
  • Available for a 3-month internship (July–September) with potential to extend
  • Recent graduate or early-career candidate preferred
  • Relevant degree marketing, advertising/PR, communications, advertising, or equivalent preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools and systems
