Job description

EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Public Works team located in Columbus, OH.

Our EIs work under the guidance of experienced Engineers and Project Managers who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development.

Responsibilities

Work includes preparing conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets. May include drainage analysis, preparing surfaces, line work and contour drawings from survey data points; developing plan and profile drawings and details, grading, utility plans, storm sewers, roadways, required easements, access drives, parking and more, in accordance with local zoning standards and internal EMH&T drafting standards.

You may be responsible for planning and organizing workflow, coordinating and overseeing work prepared by others, developing design calculations and subsequent plan details and specifications, as well as assisting with plan reviews and modifications.
