Job Description
The Leidos Intelligence Sector is seeking a Chinese Language-Enabled OSINT Collector (Junior) to support the Collection and Reporting Team at DIA/NDOC. This position will be located in Patrick Air Force Base FL.
This exciting opportunity will enable you to leverage your experience in support of the DIA OSINT mission. In this mission space, we support DIA/NDOC's OSINT production on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE). The Leidos effort consists of five main tasks: collecting and reporting, mission and information technology architecture, policy and OSINT governance support, OSINT strategic communications strategy support, and OSINT specialized tradecraft and training development support.
As a Language-Enabled OSINT Collector, you will conduct OSINT collection activities to support our customer's mission objectives. You will identify, evaluate, and exploit publicly available information (PAI) to produce timely, accurate, and high-quality Open Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs). The ideal candidate will bring strong analytic skills, sound judgement, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Conduct open-source research and basic collection in support of intelligence requirements under guidance from senior OSINT collectors.
  • Support the development of collection plans by compiling relevant background research.
  • Perform initial evaluation of collected information to identify patterns, trends, entities, and relationships.
  • Leverage OSINT tools and platforms to support PAI collection.
  • Provide language-enabled research, translation, and cultural context as required.
  • Assist in maintaining source documentation and records.
  • Work closely with assigned senior OSINT collectors and reviewers to finalize reports for dissemination.
  • Produce high-quality, accurate, cogent intelligence reports to support mission objectives.
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Current or recent SCI-level access is a significant advantage and preferred.
  • Successful polygraph within the last 5 years is a significant advantage and preferred.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Entry-level OSINT or intelligence analysis experience, including internships.
  • Chinese language proficiency, with a minimum DLPT score of 2, 2, 2 or equivalent through other acceptable language testing (LTI, ALTA).
  • English competency score through language testing venues for non-native English speakers.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies, or relevant field.
  • Three years of experience in OSINT or intelligence analysis with at least a portion of the experience in the last two years.
  • Proficiency with OSINT tools, platforms, and analytic techniques.
  • OSINT certification (for example, EOSINT USMC, OS301 or OS302 Army, ONI OSINT Fundamentals, DIA BOTC, NGA OSINT, SOCOM NERD).
  • Proven experience with data science/advanced data analytic techniques, such as using python, R, or other scripting languages.

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
