About the Company



Position - Registered Dietitian



Address - Lodi, California 95240



Duration - 16 weeks



Shift - 8 hour Days shift



Weekly hour - 40 hours



Documentation System: Cerner, CBORD



About the Role



The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs and providing appropriate nutrition care plans and education. This role includes conducting initial and ongoing nutritional assessments, monitoring patient progress, implementing medical nutrition therapy, and documenting patient responses. The dietitian also supports patient and family education, collaborates with the healthcare team, supervises assigned staff activities, and assists in training new staff and dietetic interns.



Responsibilities



  • Assess patients’ nutritional needs
  • Provide appropriate nutrition care plans and education
  • Conduct initial and ongoing nutritional assessments
  • Monitor patient progress
  • Implement medical nutrition therapy
  • Document patient responses
  • Support patient and family education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team
  • Supervise assigned staff activities
  • Assist in training new staff and dietetic interns


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutrition or equivalent required
  • Master’s Degree required for eligibility beginning after 1/1/2024
  • Dietetic internship or equivalent required
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required within 6 months of residency completion
  • Clinical Dietitian experience preferred

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
  • Proficient in documentation systems such as Cerner and CBORD
