Job description

Enterprise Voice Engineer - Scott AFB, IL (TS/SCI) Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Voice Engineer to join a mission-critical program based at Scott AFB, IL . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP voice engineering, routing/switching, SIP call flows, and enterprise-scale telephony systems, and must hold an active TS/SCI clearance . Responsibilities of the Enterprise Voice Engineer include: * Perform sustainment, maintenance, and engineering support for a large, complex, and highly resilient IP voice and video communications infrastructure.

* Manage, configure, troubleshoot, and ensure service availability across voice, video, and data networks. * Conduct system maintenance, support capacity planning, and execute configuration changes with proper documentation. * Configure calling search spaces, route plans, route partitions, route lists, and device profiles.

* Configure and support Cisco and/or Juniper routing and switching devices . * Support distributed firewall infrastructure and security-driven network architectures. * Provide input toward technical policy development, work instructions, and enterprise reporting.

* Analyze and resolve complex SIP signaling, call-flow, registration, signaling, and media path issues. * Validate change requests and ensure accuracy and compliance. * Perform advanced fault analysis and configuration of voice subscribers, call handlers, routing rules, and network devices.

* Collaborate with engineering, operations, and PMO teams to support high-visibility requirements across a global enterprise environment. Qualifications for the Enterprise Voice Engineer include: * DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent). * Experience with one or more enterprise voice platforms, such as Cisco CUCM, Unity, CUBE, Avaya Aura, or Oracle SBC .

* Strong expertise in SIP internetworking , signaling, and call-flow analysis. * Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting routing, switching, security, and large-scale voice implementations. * Strong Layer 3 networking background ( Juniper experience highly preferred ).

* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (TS/SCI required prior to start).
