Job description

Job Title: Sr. Project Manager (Healthcare)
Location: Lansing, MI, (Hybrid)-Onsite from day 1, two days a week. (Wednesday and Thursday are required onsite)
Position Type: Contract
Interview Mode: MS Teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure interoperability goals are met
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and communication strategies
  • Monitor project progress and prepare reports for leadership and funders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and barriers
  • Promote adoption of interoperability tools and workflows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, Health Informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in public health or healthcare IT
  • PMP certification required
  • CAPM or Agile certification preferred
  • Familiarity with health data standards and public health systems
  • Experience with public health programs, clinical systems, or IT infrastructure is highly valuable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
