LIFELONG LEARNING PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

BC3 @ Armstrong Fall 2026

Butler County Community College (BC3) is seeking talented qualified instructors with a variety of unique talents and skills to teach Lifelong Learning classes at BC3 @ Armstrong, Ford City, PA BEGINNING FALL 2026. We are searching for enthusiastic and well-trained professionals to deliver course content and develop classroom-based classes. Employment with the Lifelong Learning Program at Butler County Community College is part-time, temporary and based on contractual agreements. Instructors must have the proper credentials for their area of expertise as well as current clearances including: PA Child Abuse Clearances, PA State Police Criminal History Record, and Federal Criminal History Records through the FBI in addition to BC3 application, resume, references, and letter of application.

Classes will be offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Qualified Instructors wanted in the following courses:

Fine Arts Instructor: Artist/instructor should have experience with one or more of the following: fine arts drawing, sketching, watercolor, acrylic, mediums or expressions.

Photography: digital

Crafting Classes: collage, flower arrangement, other

Exercise and Fitness: Yoga

Culinary: Cake decorating

History: Local history of Ford City

Computers: Excel, cell phone technology, tablet technology

Languages: Spanish

Music: Guitar, voice, dance
