As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. We are seeking a Business Analyst Intern to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will support the building of scalable analytics frameworks and insights that drive decision-making for our SMB advertisers. You will work cross-functionally to transform data into actionable strategies, helping to shape the future of commerce on TikTok. Key Responsibilities As an intern, you will work closely with senior analysts and business leaders to: - Assist in Analytics Frameworks: Support the definition and implementation of analytics frameworks to measure business health and advertiser performance. - Performance Monitoring: Help build and maintain simple dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the SMB sector. - Cross-Functional Analysis: Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Business Ops teams on in-depth analyses under the guidance of senior mentors. - Support Strategic Projects: Contribute data analysis to key initiatives such as partnership penetration, sales efficiency, and seasonality studies. - Infrastructure Partnership: Partner with the Global Business Analytics team to identify improvements in tooling, workflows, and data infrastructure.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Computer Science or a related discipline. - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking capabilities. - Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and basic data visualization techniques. - Basic knowledge of SQL - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship or project experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science. - Familiarity with dashboard tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Data Studio. - Experience building simple dashboards or data visualizations. - Coursework or academic projects related to advertising, SaaS, or e-commerce analytics. - Exposure to experimentation or A/B testing concepts. - Experience presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders. - Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $30- $30.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
