Senior Product Analyst - 2369267

EMPLOYER:    Optum Services Inc.

JOB TITLE:    Senior Product Analyst

LOCATION:    1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES:    Conduct research to identify provider claim, remittance, scheduling, and admissions data attributes to build predictive AI models; build detailed use cases to inform the data science team of specific outcomes required to address business challenges in healthcare revenue cycle processes; engage with internal and external stakeholders, to understand workflow needs, determine solutions to problems, and create market fit for product capabilities; plan and execute product initiatives and ensure delivery dates are met; collaborate with engineering teams to size projects and establish completion timelines; perform competitive analysis of current market trends and assess opportunities to enhance Optum Real product capabilities; analyze client and Optum data outputs to create relational attributes that inform predictive data models and outputs, leveraging AI, ML, and automation technologies; drive organizational enablement for new product capabilities, coordinating efforts across data science, engineering, user experience, analytics, customer adoption, and operations; define success criteria for new products, releases, or capabilities, and document progress in weekly reports shared with leadership; and prepare detailed Steering Committee presentations and weekly report-outs to leadership, summarizing progress, insights, and recommendations for product development. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Sciences, or a related field and the completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one (1) year of experience involving the following:
    Platform and system administration;
    Programming language including Python, Java or Scala;
    User interface  using Figma;
    Development skills including workflow, process, flow, reports or formula development;
    Data structures and data models;
    Automated scripting for user management and governance processes;
    SQL;
    Product management experience including tools like Jira, Aha!, or Rally;
    Product development lifecycle (PDLC) across multiple environments; and
    Agile methodologies.

RATE OF PAY:  $79,050 - $119,196 / per year
