As a Software Engineer, you will build the infrastructure for high-quality research, developing pipelines that process massive EEG datasets and supporting neural decoding technology alongside world-class researchers.
Responsibilities:

• writing the infrastructure that powers our physical experiments and data analysis
• powering work allowing for neural decoding technology while working alongside world-class researchers pushing the boundaries of what's possible in brain-computer interfaces
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of production software engineering experience with deep expertise in Python and systems-level architecture.
• Built and maintained high-performance data pipelines for processing and storing massive datasets.
• Comfortable building the infrastructure and front-end tools required to visualize experimental stimuli in real-time.
• Background in managing entire software stacks, cloud infrastructure, and dependency management.
• Capable of working across the full stack to debug low-level system performance issues or architect new foundational services.
• Enjoy owning the entire technical lifecycle of a project, from initial design to production deployment and maintenance.
Preferred:
• Experience developing internal libraries, SDKs, or tooling that powers machine learning and computational neuroscience workflows.
• Built core Python infrastructure like interpreters, package ecosystems, typing tools, or maintained widely-used open-source Python developer tools with significant adoption.
• Expertise in Python performance optimization, including experience with Cython, profiling tools, or optimizing Python runtimes.
