Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to join our growing team. Your work will directly impact patients and clinicians by shaping the experience of a complex connected medical device. You'll apply your expertise across service design, UI/UX, product design and design research to address nuanced usability challenges in a regulated setting.
Role Responsibilities
  • Design and iterate on core user flows for a complex software application.
  • Specify UI/UX details across the entire product experience.
  • Create and maintain a cohesive design system.
  • Work cross-functionally to understand trade-offs across product, hardware, software, clinical and regulatory needs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant medical software standards and regulations.
  • Document design choices and key decision-making processes.

Role Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Significant experience designing user flows from conception to implementation.
  • Significant experience developing UI designs, especially using Figma.
  • Experience working with highly cross-functional teams to distill design requirements.
  • Experience working with unconventional input devices and accessibility-focused design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing for severely affected patient populations.
  • Experience designing data-rich applications.
  • Familiarity with physical-digital product ecosystems.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end design lifecycle for medical data products.
  • Experience working directly with patients to research user needs and test usability.
