Final Certification Job Description
Overview
  • The primary function of this job is to certify print product and support manufacturing in its efforts to provide 1st quality carpet to the customer.
  • Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Perform range, automated planker and standard work audits and provide feedback to associates and area supervision.
    • Provide specific feedback on any order that is failed to assist manufacturing in improving the quality of failed layout.
    • Place tiles in Lab and Certification Room for daily testing, review and process material according to test results
    • Approve and grade custom orders focusing on design, tile and pattern registration.
    • Use tools provided; sales order information, design server, book material and masters to make real time decisions to support range decision making with minimal downtime.
    • Monitor MTO to ensure quality checks are being performed and correct product is being sent to the warehouse.
    • Grade and approve shear orders providing feedback on any layout that is unacceptable
    • Monitor and certify claim replacement, critical project and any other special orders as directed through the Quality Assurance Inspection Report and Critical Project processes
    • Track, report and train associates on External Quality Claims
    • Review and process ARG (Return) orders on print, SDN, LVT and CNS providing feedback to QA for claim closure
    • Complete any special project or assignment from supervisor.
