We are currently seeking to fill a pre-sales engineering position. As a key member of our Solutions Architect team, you will work closely with sales to design best-of-the-breed solutions for our existing account base and expand into new territories. In this pivotal role, you will help shape MGT’s solutions portfolio, drive customer satisfaction, and contribute directly to our growth. MGT offers opportunities for ongoing professional development and career advancement within our dynamic organization.
  • Pre-Sales: Lead impactful customer presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually; work closely with sales to develop and nurture customer relationships while executing both strategic and tactical objectives; actively contribute to proposal creation and tailored solution presentations.
  • On-Site Engagement: Attend on-site customer meetings as required, providing technical expertise, solution guidance, and ensuring alignment between client needs and proposed architectures. Travel to customer locations will be needed based on project requirements.
  • Architectural Oversight: Provide Architect Level oversight on large, complex projects, ensuring best practices in design, implementation, and integration, while maintaining technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery. Expect to produce bills of materials as well as proposal documentation.
  • Project Estimation: Perform and/or review site surveys (hands-on and using tools such as System Surveyor), prepare single-site and multi-site system designs, cable and power plans, and network/load calculations. Produce accurate labor and materials estimates, BOMs and assumptions that enable clear proposals and pricing.
  • Post-Sales: Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and, when necessary, after implementation, guaranteeing a seamless transition and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Technical: Identify, position, and promote opportunities for MGT’s MSP solutions, including all aspects of physical security.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Experience with multi-site rollouts, overlays (AI/analytic platforms), and education or public-sector procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with subcontractors for cabling/physical install and supporting QA/commissioning.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the southeast including GA, FL, TN, AL, MS, SC, NC.
  • Five (5) or more years’ experience in physical security systems design or field engineering (surveillance, access control, intrusion).
