Your Impact
  • Design and develop enterprise-grade technology solutions with a focus on system performance, cross-system interdependencies, stability, scalability, and usability
  • Utilize modern development methodologies with a cloud-first approach, incorporating CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
  • Mentor fellow developers on best practices for the selected development methodologies
  • Lead and participate in application design and development meetings, employing both Agile and traditional methodologies
  • Create comprehensive documentation for technical design, system specifications, and desired test outcomes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field
  • 5+ years of experience of software engineering experience with .NET, C#, .NET Worker Services, ASP.NET Core, and background service patterns
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and proficient in utilizing API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework Core with expertise in designing normalized schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing database performance
  • Experience building responsive web applications using ASP.NET Core (MVC, Razor Pages) and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Blazor
  • Adept at deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Functions
  • Proficient in Git including experience in branching, merging, and pulling request workflows
  • Advanced expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
  • Capable of writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Experienced in working within Agile/Scrum teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience of software engineering experience with .NET, C#, .NET Worker Services, ASP.NET Core, and background service patterns
  • 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and proficient in utilizing API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
  • Experience in authoring and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Proficient in designing, provisioning, and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on Microsoft Azure, utilizing Terraform modules and best practices
  • Knowledgeable in automated testing, build, and deployment strategies for .NET and containerized applications.
  • Experience with Azure and GCP cloud platforms
  • Skilled in supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies, standards, and SOX requirements
