This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Nights - 12 hr shifts, 7pm - 7:30am
Job Description
ASAP starts only! Must be open to working in any of the units: Adolescent, Adult, and 55+ Geriatrics. You may be floated to any unit needed at the time. Work in a beautiful new 120 bed facility with an adult patient population exhibiting low acuity. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Royal blue scrubs are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide care for patients in a behavioral health setting.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques; experience with Handle with Care or CPI is preferred.
  • Document patient care in EHR Wellsky and manage medications through Omnicell.
  • Ensure compliance with treatment plans and protocols applicable to behavioral health.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psychiatric experience.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
