The Machine Learning & AI (ML&AI) team is a group of applied data scientists within Marketing Data Science who build machine-learning models, run experiments, and develop segmentation strategy to power smarter, more personalized marketing. We translate member data into predictive intelligence so our marketing partners can target the right members with the right message at the right time.

Potential Summer Associate project:

  • Build, rebuild, and refine machine-learning models for marketing, Design and setup experiments, including A/B tests, statistical testing, randomized control tests (RCTs), Segmentation tests/Creative Testing

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (AI-focused coursework a strong plus)
  • A passion for analytics, machine learning, and data-driven problem solving
  • Working knowledge of machine-learning algorithms, deep learning, and the statistical/mathematical logic behind analytical methods
  • Experience with data extraction/wrangling

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Comfort working with large datasets and telling stories with data
  • Ability to work independently and think outside of the box

  • Collaborate with a range of partners to drive progress on cross-functional projects
  • Become acquainted with the functioning of the team
