For mechanical and Troubleshooting services in the Engineering area.

  • Bachelor's Degree with previous COOP or Internship within the pharmaceutical or medical devices regulated industry.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
  • Experience in:
    • PLC and Mechanical Machinery.
    • Knowledge of Automation, Ignition, and/or MES.
    • Programming skills in Python, C#, or SQL

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
  • Maintaining continued operations of all process equipment, including programming and maintenance for Production, Facilities, and Utilities.
  • Ensuring all automated systems comply with plant policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FDA cGMPs, and other relevant regulations.
  • Managing PLCs, SCADA, microcontrollers, single-loop controllers, and DCS. Developing interfaces and reports using fourth-generation languages.
  • Reviewing software applications for integration compatibility and evaluating system capacity to determine the feasibility of upgrades or enhancements.
  • Recommending strategies for plant automation and process integration through the design or redesign of current systems.
  • Preparing and reviewing critical system procedures, including Operational, Security, Backup/Restore, and Disaster Recovery protocols.
  • Resolving technical issues by implementing hardware/software fixes, updating SOPs, or conducting user retraining.
  • Managing Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) and overseeing the timelines and implementation of process automation initiatives.
