Top Performance Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time in Clearwater, Florida. As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Examine, evaluate, and conduct thorough assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions, developing tailored treatment plans that address their individual needs.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers concerning the continuum of care for patients, ensuring a cohesive recovery journey.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by interacting respectfully with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement approved treatment modalities, re-evaluate patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary, all while complying with relevant laws and professional documentation standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary case meetings, clearly communicating evaluations and treatment plans to colleagues and referral sources.
• Engage in departmental activities such as community outreach, marketing initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
• Guide and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and aides, ensuring effective treatment delivery and resource management.
• Document all patient encounters and treatment outcomes accurately, adhering to organizational policies and billing requirements.

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. This patient population may include individuals undergoing rehabilitation for joint replacements, sports injuries, fractures, or post-operative care. A collaborative approach with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals will be integral to your success in facilitating effective discharge planning and promoting continuous improvement in patient health and mobility.

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will have a distinct advantage:

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Experience mentoring or supervising support staff and interns.
• Active engagement in professional development activities and continuing education courses.

The salary range for this full-time position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package encompassing:
