  • Meets or exceeds professional standards, state-mandated guidelines, requirements of business/industry, and higher education, as appropriate to the discipline(s).ย 

Service:ย 
  • Actively participates in college meetings and/or committees, task forces, and councils.ย 
  • Participates in college-related activities such as registration, community education, recruitment of students, student retention, and faculty selection.ย 
  • Participates in college activities for students/student organizations to aid in retention.ย 
  • Participates in business and community activities that foster goodwill and promote the mission and values of the college.ย 
  • Participates in activities required to maintain program and college accreditation standards.ย 
  • Participates in setting departmental goals, in developing college budgets that support the goals, and in planning for achieving those goals.ย 
  • Promotes and maintains departmental affiliation agreements and other partnerships with other institutions.ย 

Additional Job Functions:ย 
  • Participate in the instruction of nursing theory and clinical practice in an ACEN accredited program.ย 
  • Plan, supervise, and evaluate student clinical experiences.ย 
  • Theory and clinical times will include day and evening classes.ย 

Other responsibilities include, but are limited to:ย 
  • Advising studentsย 
  • Promoting and facilitating community awareness of the program,ย 
  • Participating in committee assignments, professional development,ย 
  • Recruiting and retention of students.ย 
  • Involves travel of clinical facilities as well as day, evening and weekend clinical.ย
