Job description

Beauty Brand is seeking a motivated Video Editor (Social Media) to support a creative team in producing high-quality content across multiple digital platforms.
REMOTE- PST Timezone
Freelance/Contract
Key Responsibilities
• Support senior creative leads in shaping video content for social, digital, and branded channels
• Import, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage and assets within established workflows
• Build rough assemblies and string-outs from briefs or scripts while maintaining organized timelines and file structures
• Assist with light color correction, audio leveling, and basic motion graphics
• Manage project files, storage workflows, revisions, versioning, and final deliverables
• Export and encode videos in multiple aspect ratios and codecs optimized for digital distribution
• Collaborate with creative and production stakeholders to maintain consistency with brand standards
• Troubleshoot common post-production issues and support workflow efficiency
• Stay current on platform requirements, editing tools, and content best practices
Qualifications
• 2+ years of hands-on video editing or post-production experience; internship and freelance experience considered
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve
• Experience with professional footage workflows, including ARRI, RED, Canon, or Phantom formats
• On-set DIT experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of codecs, terminology, and post-production workflows
• Excellent organization, file management, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and take direction effectively
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience editing social-first content and consumer-facing brand content is highly preferred
