Best Care Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to analyze clients' substance use history and mental health needs, employing standardized tools and manuals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, utilizing tailored therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that adopt evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate closely with a treatment team consisting of physicians, nurses, and social workers to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.
• Educate and support families to enhance their involvement in the recovery process, offering resources and guidance on how they can support their loved ones.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes to adhere to regulatory standards and organizational policies.

The primary client population includes adults dealing with substance use disorders alongside various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. By employing a client-centered approach, you will focus on developing meaningful therapeutic relationships, fostering trust, and motivating individuals to engage actively in their recovery journey.

• A current and valid mental health professional license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD) in California.
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling, including knowledge of treatment methodologies and best practices.
• Strong therapeutic skills, with the ability to create a supportive environment that motivates and encourages clients.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients and collaborate with a diverse treatment team.

• Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment setting, actively engaging in the therapeutic process and mentoring clients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Experience conducting family therapy or group therapy sessions specifically focused on substance abuse recovery.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, alongside a sign-on bonus of $3000.
