Job Title: Clinical - Scientist, R&D - Individual Contributor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scientist, R&D to support research and development initiatives focused on improving existing products, processes, systems, and technologies while contributing to the development of new solutions. This individual contributor role requires the application of scientific principles, analytical thinking, and professional judgment to execute research activities independently with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will conduct fundamental and applied research, analyze experimental results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product and process innovation. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong scientific foundation who can effectively apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory-based fundamental and applied research to support product development, process improvement, and innovation initiatives.
- Design, execute, and document experiments, studies, and investigations in accordance with established scientific methodologies.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and provide recommendations based on scientific findings.
- Support the development and optimization of products, components, equipment, systems, and processes.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and research documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory procedures, quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose scientifically sound solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of research activities, methodologies, and outcomes.
- Stay current with scientific literature, industry trends, and emerging technologies relevant to the field.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Strong understanding of scientific principles, laboratory practices, and research methodologies.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge and professional judgment to solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and scientific data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship, academic research, laboratory, or project experience in a scientific or R&D environment.
- Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Familiarity with regulated environments such as healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality management systems.
