Contract-to-Hire Alpharetta, GA (Preferred) | Remote Considered for Exceptional Candidates


We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our team in a hands-on leadership role supporting mission-critical applications and production environments. This position is ideal for a technical professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex production issues, and has experience leading support teams through high-priority incidents.


This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term growth based on performance and business needs.


What You'll Do

  • Lead daily production support operations for enterprise applications.
  • Monitor production environments and manage scheduled process automation activities.
  • Coordinate and lead response efforts during critical production incidents, including Priority 1 (P1) events.
  • Facilitate incident bridge calls and communicate effectively with technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead daily scrum and support transition meetings between U.S. and offshore teams, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and execute complex SQL queries for monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and analysis.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution efforts.
  • Support change management and release activities across multiple environments.
  • Test, document, and validate environment changes and operational processes.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across support functions.
  • Participate in after-hours support and escalation activities when required.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Application Support, Production Support, Technical Operations, or a similar enterprise support environment.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical support teams.
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Experience managing and resolving high-severity production incidents.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and service management processes.
  • Experience with Change Management and Release Management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize competing demands.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting payment processing, financial services, fintech, or other high-transaction environments.
  • Experience working with distributed global teams, including offshore support organizations.
  • Agile and Scrum experience.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing platforms.
