Job description

General Purpose The purpose of this internship is to gain a first-hand knowledge of airport social media efforts, policies, and how to communicate to the broader community about airport related items including but not limited to flight information, legislative efforts, and marketing planning. This internship will help maintain an email marketing campaign and assist in executing community-based events. Learning Outcomes: Gain experience collaborating with airport staff and media buyers throughout the communications and marketing planning process Develop skills in maintaining a social media content calendar within a complex, fast-moving operational environment Learn to craft and schedule engaging content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Build foundational knowledge of airport operations and the unique communications challenges they present Learn to plan and execute community events designed to drive meaningful public engagement Union Affiliation: Non-Union Pay Grade: Unpaid, for academic credit Remote Tier 1: Zero (0) days remote/week Note: This internship is unpaid and must be completed with an internship course.

A Memorandum of Understanding agreement must be in place prior to the internship start date. Anticipated dates 6/1/26-8/14/26.
