Job Description
The Social Media Trading Manager is a role with our US In-House Media team, supporting the US business within our North America division and will be responsible for the implementation of our digital paid media strategies within paid social media platforms. As a US Social Media Trading Manager, you will be a collaborative and courageous leader whose primary focus will be helping to execute paid social media campaigns for the business, inclusive of audience & inventory strategy and ongoing campaign optimizations that deliver on the intended goals & objectives for the investment.
This is a hybrid role with an in-office requirement a minimum of 1 day per week in our downtown Chicago (Loop) office or 3 days per week in the Cincinnati office.
As the Beauty Care Social Trading Manager, you will:
  • Be responsible for paid social media tactical plan creation as well as audience creation, campaign set up, execution, tagging/trafficking creative assets and reporting across social media ad platforms.
  • Monitor campaign pacing and manage budget delivery and campaign performance in line with brand KPIs, goals, and objectives
  • Develop and communicate ongoing campaign optimization recommendations to cross-team stakeholders
  • Measure business impact of paid social media campaigns using quantitative and qualitative metrics.
  • Share campaign pacing and performance updates and resulting recommendations with the media planning and brand teams on a weekly basis.
  • Present paid social ad campaign recaps and insights to strategic planners and brand teams.
  • Fully understand the category media model and paid media plans and the role of social campaigns within those. Learn and contribute to the category's overarching social strategy.
  • Work with category media team and agencies to ensure media buys are input properly in Prisma and trafficking is completed accurately. QA paid social campaigns across social media platforms and flag any issues.
  • Keep regular and detailed optimization notes and campaign insights - identify opportunities for cross-tactic optimization (shifts).
  • Maintain partner relationships, keep up to date on platform updates, feature releases, bugs, trainings and raise issues or areas of opportunity for improvement within social media capabilities.
  • Collaborate on planning, strategy, and capabilities with the full media team. Work with the team on testing plans and new experiment opportunities to continuously improve and evolve paid social approach.
  • Be a Social media expert and thought leader for the team. Understand latest developments in digital media from meeting with suppliers, industry news, etc.
  • Understand and implement data strategy for targeting in partnership with the team. Keep up to date on targeting capabilities and available data.
  • Troubleshoot platform, campaign, and ad ops issues and solve technical blockers
  • Work with A&I and rest of the media team to develop dashboards and reporting capabilities.
  • Train other team members in various parts of paid social campaign strategy, management and analytics.

Job Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as a "hands on keys" paid social media buyer executing full funnel paid social media campaigns in Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit
  • Deep expertise in paid social media platforms and understanding of algorithms to drive results to brand and ecommerce goals using Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, etc.
  • Paid Social Media Platform Certifications (Meta Blueprint Certified Buying Professional, TikTok Media Buyer Certification, etc.)
  • Experience with online to offline sales measurement and CPG product marketing a plus
  • Strong analytics background: Able to triangulate between data, brand goals and opportunities to make recommendations and optimize plans to key KPIs.
  • Understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with brand safety measurement and third party tagging platforms
  • Data and performance driven mindset, passion for testing and delivering impact through ongoing optimizations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Starting Pay/Salary Range: $85,000 - $122,200
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
