LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Come join us at Cabrini of Westchester! We are a 304-bed, Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility founded in 1974 in continuation of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini’s legacy of serving those in need through works of healing, teaching, caring and giving.

We are looking for a LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse.

  • $35.68 per hour plus 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts.
  • Full and Part-Time; Day, Evening and Night Shifts available.

LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse Introduction:

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the delivery of care to residents according to established plans of care and under the supervision of the professional registered nurse. This is an 1199 SEIU Position.

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current NY LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Long-Term Care experience preferred.

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Summary:

  • Assist in assessment and care planning for residents.
  • Assist in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units.
  • Regular rounding on nursing units.
  • Assure complete and accurate documentation through spot-checking and on-going supervision.
  • Consult with Unit Managers in the provision of continuity of care to residents.
  • Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department.
