9/80 Schedule: Employee will work 80 hours over 9 days across two weeks, with every other Friday off.
 
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Product Support Engineer) to join a high-performing team supporting advanced military communication products throughout their lifecycle.
This role focuses on investigating and resolving complex issues across analog, digital, and RF systems, working closely with cross-functional teams in a lab environment adjacent to manufacturing.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the component level across analog and digital circuits
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems using testing, simulation, and experimentation
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support new product introductions (NPI), including prototype debugging and production ramp-up
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product performance
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians and junior engineers
  • Lead small technical teams, prioritize tasks, and ensure delivery against targets
  • Analyze designs and clearly communicate technical findings to stakeholders
Essential Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in analog, digital, and RF systems
  • Proficiency with lab equipment, including:
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Digital Multimeters (DMM)
    • Spectrum & Network Analyzers
    • Logic Analyzers
    • Signal Generators
  • Experience with circuit design, analysis, and simulation tools
  • Ability to design and execute engineering experiments
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Proven leadership experience in small technical teams
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience
    OR
  • Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
    OR
  • 10+ years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience in lieu of a degree
