Job description

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Clifton Springs

DEPARTMENT: Chemical Dependency

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

SUMMARY:

The Addiction Therapist Supervisor provides supervision to Addiction Therapists. The domain of clinical supervision includes counselor development, professional and ethical standards, program development and quality assurance and performance evaluation. The supervisor will maintain a client caseload size relative to job responsibilities. Monitors and ensures quality of clinical services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required in Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Social Work or the alike in a Human Service field.

  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in chemical dependency or behavioral health, which can include internship


Required Licensure / Certification Skills:

  • Advanced CASAC, Master CASAC, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program & Staff Development. Conduct individual and group supervisory activities that promote clinical and program service improvement; monitor staff productivity and compliance with medical record and regulatory requirements

  • Leadership. Conduct performance evaluations based on quantitative and qualitative data; evaluate clinical competencies of staff based on research-based practice guidelines; provide supervision to improve clinical outcomes such as enhancing client access, engagement and retention into treatment

  • Caseload Management. Maintain a client caseload and complete medical record documentation within required time frame and in accordance with regulatory requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
