Job description

Position Function :
Coordinate curriculum-based skills services and (crisis calls, referrals, skill-based sessions, counseling) to ensure Real Help for Real Life (RHRL) program participants receive timely, competent, caring responses from the first call to discharge. Provide ongoing supervision to direct reports ensuring that the agency philosophy and practices are implemented throughout service delivery. Represent ACH in the community.
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Licensed as one of the following: Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor or Intern (LPC or LPC-I), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Associate (LMFT or LMFT-A), Licensed Psychological Associate or Psychologist preferred.
Experience:
Two years of experience providing crisis intervention, intake and assessment to at-risk youth and families required. One year of supervisory experience required. Previous training and experience delivering curriculum-based interventions preferred. Training in trauma-informed care and curriculum-based trauma interventions preferred.
Functional Requirements :
Provide oversight of curriculum-based techniques and methods being used with the goal of increasing skill level of Counselors, Family Support Specialists, Resource Navigators and Child and Family Services Interns. Oversee administrative aspects to ensure productivity and accountability for RHRL Program contract requirements, ACH training, documentation and provision of service requirements. Provide direct reports with supervision through staffing and case reviews to ensure effectiveness, EBP fidelity and services that are sensitive to the population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Follow policies and procedures of ACH and represent the agency in the community to generate referral activity, stakeholder support and collaboration opportunities with service providers.
Working Conditions :
Exposure to children with behavior problems, including possibly responding to physical aggression. Potential exposure to illness and blood.
Exposure to Confidential Information :
Maintain confidentiality and follow ACH policies and procedures and contractual and regulatory requirements for personnel and client records.
Key Expectations/Responsibilities :
Clinical Supervision:
  • Provide supervision to assigned staff and interns.
  • Meet bi-weekly or as needed with supervisees to monitor clinical caseloads, set schedules, assign cases to meet productivity goals and to ensure supervisees are providing timely, competent and caring services.
  • Assess whether or not curriculum-based intervention resources must be shifted in the service area to meet community need or demand.

Administrative Supervision:
  • Ensure supervisees achieve the conduct and performance goals of ACH and RHRL Program.
  • Ensure supervisees document services in a timely manner and achieve performance outputs and outcomes.
  • Ensure supervisees comply with all personnel policies.
  • Complete all administrative tasks for the supervision of staff including annual performance reviews, bi-weekly time sheets, cell phone and mileage reimbursements.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with supervisor.

Training:
  • Participate in and occasionally conduct in-service training.
  • Participate in training on evidence-based programs, ACH and RHRL Program contractual and accreditation requirements.

Service Delivery:
  • May provide curriculum-based sessions on a limited basis.
  • Organize and give presentations as assigned.
  • On-call for Safe Place® as needed.
  • Maintain on call phone during assigned shifts answering calls and coordinating to address caller needs.

Reporting:
  • Complete all necessary documentation to fulfill RHRL contractual and agency requirements, including reports and billing.
