Job description

Department: Sales / Digital Retail
Location: Austin, Texas (High-Volume Powersports Store)
Reports To: General Sales Manager / General Manager
Position Summary
Internet Sales Management Experience is Required.
The Internet Sales Manager (ISM) is responsible for leading all digital and inbound sales activity, including internet leads, phone calls, chats, and text communications. This role owns the CRM process, speed-to-lead, appointment discipline, and digital-to-showroom conversion, ensuring consistent execution and accountability across the internet sales team.
The ISM is a hands-on leader who drives performance through structure, coaching, KPI management, and close partnership with Sales Management and F&I.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage all inbound digital leads (website, OEM, third-party, chat, text, phone)
  • Enforce speed-to-lead, follow-up cadence, and contact strategy
  • Lead daily internet sales operations and lead distribution
  • Manage and coach Internet Sales Consultants / BDC reps
  • Ensure all leads are properly worked, documented, and dispositioned in the CRM
  • Drive appointment setting, confirmation, and show-rate discipline
  • Partner with Sales Managers on deal handoff and appointment execution
  • Monitor call quality, scripts, and objection handling
  • Conduct daily huddles, KPI reviews, and role-play training
  • Audit CRM activity, lead aging, and response compliance
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead quality, source performance, and conversion
  • Support digital retailing tools, online pricing strategy, and inventory merchandising
  • Handle customer escalations originating from digital channels

  • 3-5 years of experience in internet sales, BDC, or digital sales leadership
  • Prior experience in powersports, automotive, or high-volume retail
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, lead management, and phone sales
  • Proven ability to manage KPIs, coach teams, and drive accountability
  • Experience with appointment-based selling models
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
