Job description

Starlink & Satellite Installation Technician - Eugene, OR
Now Installing Starlink Satellite Internet DISH TV Smart Home Technology
LinkUs is hiring Field Technicians to install Starlink satellite internet, DISH Network television, and connected home technology in residential homes across the region. Starlink is one of the fastest-growing broadband technologies in the country, powered by SpaceX - and our technicians are the ones installing it and connecting communities to next-generation internet.
Whether you bring years of field experience or you're ready to learn a skilled trade from the ground up, we provide the training, tools, and company vehicle to get you there. What we need from you is a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to do quality work.
What You Will Do
  • Install Starlink satellite internet systems including dish mounting, cabling, and router configuration
  • Install and service DISH Network satellite television equipment
  • Set up and configure customer equipment including routers and smart home devices
  • Run cabling, drill wall penetrations, and install grommets to professional standards
  • Recommend additional products and services to customers - earn extra money through sales incentives on upgrades customers want
  • Complete required photo documentation and equipment reconciliation for every job
  • Provide a professional, respectful experience in every customer's home
  • Mount dishes and hardware on roof eaves, exterior walls, and other structures using extension ladders
  • Drive to customer locations - some job sites may be 30-120+ minutes from your base

What We Are Looking For
  • Experience is a plus, not a requirement. Field installation experience in satellite, cable, telecom, HVAC, electrical, or a similar trade is preferred - but we will train the right person. Higher starting pay is available for experienced technicians.
  • Able to use power tools including drills, impacts, and hand tools (or willing to learn)
  • Comfortable working on extension ladders (up to 40 ft) to access roof eaves, and in attics and crawlspaces
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must have a personal smartphone for field use (monthly phone reimbursement provided)
  • Reliable, punctual, and available to start at 7:00 AM most days or earlier upon managers request
  • Full-time availability including weekends and holidays as needed

What We Offer
* Pay Range: $18-$21/hr - higher starting rate for experienced technicians
* Top technicians regularly earn well above base pay through performance incentives and customer upgrades
* Sales bonuses available on every job - recommend upgrades customers want, earn additional income
  • You Own a Piece of This Company: LinkUs is an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. Every employee builds real equity and long-term wealth as the company grows. This is real ownership that grows as the company grows.
  • Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, and Tools Provided: Everything you need to do the job is provided - company vehicle, fuel card, uniforms, and a full tool kit. No personal vehicle or tool investment required.
  • Monthly Phone Reimbursement: Use your personal smartphone for field work and receive a monthly reimbursement for usage.
  • Full Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • Paid Hands-On Training: We invest in getting you trained and certified. New technicians ride along with experienced Starlink and DISH installers before going solo.
  • Consistent Work: Year-round installations driven by DISH and rapidly expanding Starlink demand. This is not seasonal piece work - this is a full-time career.
  • Career Growth: High performers advance into lead technician, field trainer, and field supervisor roles. We promote from within.
