Job description

FUNCTION: Ensure the smooth, accurate operation of internet sales orders; assist all areas to create high sales volume with a pleasant atmosphere, high employee morale, and good customer service. Oversee all aspects of drop shipments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures accurate and timely processing of internet sales orders.
2. Provides flow of communication for Internet Sales main office, Store Manager, Operations Manager, buyers, and president. This position will be the primary contact between store and IT with regards to EASE and drop shipment receiving, as well as the primary contact between store and Buyers when information is needed for receiving merchandise.
3. Pulls merchandise needed for out going store orders and orders for main office requests.
4. Acts as a runner* for merchandise needed at main office for order processing.
5. Instructs and assigns duties to the Assistant Internet associate or assigned employee assisting.
6. Performs training and evaluations of internet associates, and ensures that all personnel in the charge of this position are following company policy.
7. Checks in merchandise from drop shipments with assistance of the stock room staff.
8. Signs all internet orders before they are shipped to ensure they are correct.
9. Oversees the packaging, labeling, and preparation for delivery of all internet orders.
10. Handles all paperwork associated with drop shipments and assists with the processing of merchandise. This includes being proficient in the use of EASE, and supporting other users with training.
11. Maintains organized records of drop shipments.
12. Acts to prevent shoplifting both internally and externally.

This is an hourly position and is charged to non -selling.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School degree, G.E.D. Preferred: B.S. /B.A. Degree or equivalent work experience.
TRAITS: Professional appearance, energetic, motivated, and inquisitive, sense of urgency, and an eye for detail. Ability to organize and give proper instruction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB: The physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job: Required to stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands and have ability to reach overhead. Regular lifting or moving of up to 25lbs, possible up to 50lbs. Requires bending, stooping, and ability to climb stairs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Specific order processing abilities required include the ability to use a personal computer, the internet, and office equipment, to write, count, and read all required shipping instruction, order forms, and company paperwork.
