IDS tailors solutions for a diverse range of government, military, nonprofit, and public-sector clients. Locations Fort Bragg, NC Shifts Available Please note, candidates must be flexible. Shift times are general hours; some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on customer requirements. Job Description IDS is seeking a Virtual Training Specialist to support virtual training requirements and mission-focused training events. The selected candidate will provide instruction and training support utilizing virtual simulation systems and military training methodologies in support of operational training objectives. Key Duties • Support virtual training activities and events. • Provide instruction using virtual simulation systems. • Support training development and execution requirements. • Apply military training experience to support mission objectives. • Support military training exercises and scenario-based learning activities. Requirements • Secret clearance. • Associate degree. Two years’ experience as a Special Operations Forces or closely related military training/assignment may substitute for academic degree. • Military Instructor Training Course or civilian equivalent required. • Military Combat Arms background. Preferred Qualifications • Instructor experience using virtual simulations. • Knowledge of emergency close air support procedures. • Knowledge of artillery and mortar call for fire procedures.
